Healthier Choco Chip Mint Smoothie

This simple guide helps you prepare a hearty and delicious choco chip mint smoothie every time!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk ( or milk of choice)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • ¼ medium sized avocado
  • 8-9 fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • 1 tablespoon cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips

Toppings
  • Dark choco chips/cacao nibs
  • Whipped cream

Methods

  1. In the Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro BN500, add the banana, milk, spinach, avocado, mint, and ice and blend until smooth.

  2. Add choco chips or cacao nibs and briefly pulse (don't completely puree the chocolate chips otherwise the smoothie colour will turn brown).

  3. Pour in a glass and garnish with whipped cream or coconut cream and additional cacao nibs, if desired. Enjoy immediately.
